California BPPE’s SB 1247 Proposed Language Approved
The Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education has just announced that the Office of Administrative Law has approved the SB 1247 proposed emergency regulations. Here is the formal announcement:
To All Interested Parties:
The Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education’s (BPPE) proposed emergency regulations regarding the accreditation of degree-granting institutions have been approved by the Office of Administrative Law. The changes were effective as of February 1, 2015.
All BPPE-approved institutions affected by these regulatory changes will be receiving a packet including copies of the regulatory language in addition to other helpful information this week.
In the meantime, the approved regulatory language can be found on the BPPE Web site at http://www.bppe.ca.gov/lawsregs/index.shtml
