Distance Learning State Authorization Rule Delayed

Once again, the Education Department has delayed the implementation of the proposed requirement that schools offering distance learning obtain authorization to operate in each state in which they are physically located. Inside Higher Education has the story:

However, while implementation of the state authorization rule has been postponed on the federal level, individual state boards are moving ahead and creating their own complex regulations.
