The Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) will double the number of field representatives who meet with SEVIS-certified school owners and administrators to review policies & procedures and ensure regulatory compliance. According to Katie Westerlund, SEVP’s Acting Unit Chief for Schools Certification and Policy, the additional field representatives will help expedite adjudications and clarify reporting requirements.
