The Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) has announced the implementation of the Accreditations and Recognitions Conversion Project, which was initiated in April of 2014. All SEVIS-certified schools were required to enter the requested information into special I-17 fields by July 18th of this year, to help SEVP identify schools that don’t maintain necessary accreditations and authorizations (state approvals).
