The California BPPE has issued an alert to school owners:
Attention – Student Tuition Recovery Fund Assessment Correction
The Bureau mailed out the First Quarter 2013 Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF) Assessment Reporting Forms and Instructions on Friday, April 5, 2013. Unfortunately, due to an internal oversight, these invoices do not reflect the regulatory change to Title 5 of California Regulation Code §76120(a), amending the assessment from $2.50 to $.50 per $1000.00 of institution charges. Please disregard this incorrect billing notice as the Bureau will be sending updated First Quarter 2013 STRF Assessment Reporting Forms and Instructions in the coming weeks.
