How the New IEP Accreditation Law Will Be Applied to “Combined” Programs
Many school owners are confused about how the Student Exchange and Visitor Program (SEVP) plans to enforce the Accreditation of English Language Training Programs Act, which requires that all intensive English programs (IEP) be accredited if they wish to retain SEVIS approval to issue Form I-20. While the regulations regarding “stand-alone” IEPs are fairly clear, those regarding “combined” programs are ambiguous at best. An article in The Pie News addresses this complex issue:
