According to Inside Higher Ed, the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) is about to post new draft guidance concerning pathway programs. The new draft guidance requires that ESL pathway programs be in compliance with the Accreditation of English Language Training Programs Act, which would effectively close a loophole that allowed unaccredited intensive English programs to enroll I-20 students.
