The U.S. House of Representatives has passed HR-3120 (The Student Visa Reform Act), which is likely to pass the Senate, too (although there may be some amendments). Owners of unaccredited schools, colleges, and universities that enroll foreign students should familiarize themselves with this important bill, which may have far-reaching implications for SEVIS-approved institutions and those that wish to become SEVIS-approved.
