WASC Denies Ashford University Accreditation: Bridgepoint Education Shares Fall

The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), the regional accrediting Commission for California, has denied Ashford University’s bid for accreditation, causing for-profit education management corporation Bridgepoint Education’s shares to fall. Forbes has the story:
